These blimp-shaped cucumbers are medium green with small white spines and a crisp interior. Harvest them at 4 cm (1") for baby sweet pickles, or allow them to grow to about 13 cm (5") while retaining their ideal pickle shape.
The plants are vigorous, with excellent disease resistance and high yields. As a rampant climber, they benefit from a sturdy trellis, and regular harvesting encourages continuous fruit production. While these cucumbers can be eaten raw, they are drier and crunchier than regular slicing cucumbers—perfect qualities for making high-quality dill pickles.
